Hours, Session Scheduling and Payment

HOURS

I have regular business hours during which I schedule and conduct sessions with clients. Occasionally, I may schedule a session on-the-fly for the same day, but this is rather rare. I prefer to have all of my appointments scheduled in advance of 1-2 days. Not to mention, regardless of the circumstances or method, payment must always, always, always be received in advance. Absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS, so please, don’t even try. It doesn’t really matter to me if you claim you’ve sent me payment; unless I have it, I’m not yet conducting business with you.

So, as of 1 May 2009, the following are my regular business hours — meaning, times in which I am regularly available for conducting sessions with clients. They do not necessarily indicate specific availability, as I book in advance and have regular appointment times for several of my clients. Of course, this is a general point-of-information. If you want a time-slot presently reserved for another client, I’ll inform you it’s already taken. For that, you will have to contact me directly, following the guidelines I’ve already conveniently outlined here for you elsewhere on the website.

SUNDAY: 14:00 – 18:00; 21:30 – 23:59
MONDAY: 00:00 – 02:00; 14:30 – 18:00; 20:00 – 23:59
TUESDAY: 22:00 – 23:59
WEDNESDAY: 00:00 – 2:00; 14:30 – 20:30; 22:00 – 23:59
THURSDAY: 00:00 – 2:00; 13:00 – 17:00; 19:00 – 23:59
FRIDAY: 00:00 – 2:00; 13:00 – 17:00; 19:00 – 23:59
SATURDAY: 00:00 – 2:00; 14:00 – 19:00

NOTES: All times are in Pacific Standard; convert to your time-zone as needed. These are the ONLY times in which I am doing sessions unless otherwise noted and are subject to change without prior notification, though I will do my best to inform everyone universally here. Things come up, and I won’t double-book. That being said, my general cut-off is 2:00, except Saturdays, which tends to be 19:00; Tuesdays will always have limited availability. (Should someone wish to make an appointment for an hour-long session, for example, they may schedule for 1:00, and no later. I will not schedule an appointment that runs beyond my 2:00 cut-off, unless it is previously negotiated with an established client. Even then, it is strictly for emergencies-only and will not run longer than 15 minutes, without exception.)

Never call between 2:00 and 13:00 of any given day. Ever. It’s during the time in which I’m sleeping, and waking me up is an activity I have to vehemently advise against. So, don’t do it. Period.

SESSION SCHEDULING

Now, should you want to contact me to setup an appointment, I’m always glad to do that, but again, this is on the grounds that it’s understood I DO not do ANYTHING after 2:00. I’ve had people in foreign countries expect me to session with them at 4 in the morning my time; I’ve had others catch me on an odd night expecting the same, and taking advantage of my generosity to at least allow them to schedule an appointment for a later date, by wasting my time and taking forever to finally say they weren’t sure when they wanted to set up an appointment, and make excuses for it. So, just know this: if it’s after 2:00, and I decide to respond to you because I’m feeling generous, it does NOT in ANY way mean I’m working, and I’ll give you 5 minutes maximum to make an appointment with me. I’m not waiting around for you to make up your damned mind. I’m tired and on my way to bed or to do other things, like be with my personal slave. I don’t have the patience, or time, for someone to take their sweet-ass time and expect me to wait for their bullshit. I absolutely won’t stand for it. If you’ve not made your appointment during that 5 minute leeway, then you’re not going to hear from me until business hours. End of story; no exceptions.

I’m just really, really sick and tired of people thinking I’m just available whenever they feel like it. I’ve never given anyone the impression it works that way, and I don’t know where they get off. But the bottom-line is, they sure as hell WON’T be unless they work within my guidelines and schedule. I’m more than worth it.

If you have any questions, that’s fine, but I don’t live on Skype, and unless I’m in-session, I’m doing a million other things during the times I have Skype open. It is NOT a good way to contact me if you want to get my attention. Send me an email instead. It’s listed on my website in various places. Use it. Just because it looks like I’m on Skype, doesn’t mean anything. Skype is 24/7 running in the background on the off-chance one of my CLIENTS may have an emergency and need to contact me during my off-hours as long as it’s not between the hours I’m sleeping and totally unavailable. THEY can contact me. If you’re not a client, then you CAN’T. It’s very simple. I give first availability to my clients. Everyone else is either trying to get something out of me for free, which will in turn really piss me off, or is ambivalent about becoming a client, by which they are still required to following all the same rules and guidelines for non-client. (It doesn’t seem strict when you figure how many people contact me expecting me to work for free.)

An Important Note About Payment Receipt:

Depending upon your method of payment, I will schedule your session within 1-2 days of receiving your payment, since I do make my appointments in advance. So, please note, if you’re looking to pay by mail to my PO Box, that I will consider the date I receive your payment to be the earliest I may work with you. There are no exceptions to this, ever! If you’re having trouble with one form of payment, switch to another method. If that fails, you can always send me an email explaining your technical problem. We’ll see what we can do.

Of course, if you have any other questions, you may feel free to ask those, too.
